downtown over the river

the trees in the center of the picture are usually on land.  ohio has had record precipitation this year, and i'm not complaining.  tomorrow it might be snow!  also it was dry enough to go outside for recess today.  hooray!  joy to you.

  2. We have snow here today, and it's really beautiful... sticking to the trees, but not the ground yet. Coming your way soon!

  3. We're about three blocks from a tidal river, so the ups and downs are daily. Not this significant though! Flooding like this only happens during hurricanes and Nor'easters! In our early days together, Neel and I lived right along the Susquehanna river, and I remember many floods like this. I also remember that particularly chilling sound of the slushy ice moving along the current.

  5. We got a lot of "weather" this year (as my father would say). Including a hurricane, and a snow storm in October.... CRAZY!
