for president's day, i read the gettysburg address to our third levels.
besides honoring president lincoln, we used it as a vocabulary exercise.

Love the vibrant bright colors of our flag. And The Gettysburg Address is a perfect Presidents Day tribute. Cal had to memorize it in 6th grade, and I loved that assignment! You're right. None of us should be taking our freedom for granted right now.
