for president's day, i read the gettysburg address to our third levels.
besides honoring president lincoln, we used it as a vocabulary exercise.
what is liberty after all?

watching world events now brings our freedom to mind.

the beauty of america.
joy to you.

  1. Love the vibrant bright colors of our flag. And The Gettysburg Address is a perfect Presidents Day tribute. Cal had to memorize it in 6th grade, and I loved that assignment! You're right. None of us should be taking our freedom for granted right now.
