Brooklyn Museum of Art
new york is in a wordy phase. go to the brooklyn museum and everyone is excited about the exhibit.
yo! do not disappear into silence.
and they haven't. during a long car ride with children and no screens, it sounds like the black poster. pass that, and love rules.
the frida kahlo exhibit has more artifacts than i have seen. her clothes, makeup, perfume. it's a little strange, the over sharing. but the art is amazing. she was hit by a bus before her 18th birthday, and lived with constant pain. she endured many, many surgeries. on display are some spine braces she wore. viewers get a deeper understanding of her life.
