this compelling book tells of a woman who wakes thinking she is in her twenties. she does not know the man in bed with her, and her face in the mirror is much older than she expected. her memory works during the day, but is erased at night. the man is her husband, and each day he orients her to herself and their life before he goes to work. a doctor also calls each day, and reminds her to read her journal, in which she records the clues to her past.
not a murder mystery exactly, but a fascinating, compelling mystery. i read it through hours of waiting at an airport, two hours on a hot, close plane that did not fly, and again until our flights were cancelled. finished it this morning on a long drive. rated m, mature. i highly recommend before i go to sleep.
Just started The Help and am devouring it!! Hope your flights work out!
