still life

it's cold and flu season here in ohio, and the children in the classroom are catching viruses.  time to eat some oranges.    how are you staying healthy?

also, as an art lover, i see many compelling visuals.  on the way home from school today, i was stuck by a group of mailboxes painted different colors.  i couldn't catch it, but maybe one day i will stop and take a quick picture.  what's beautiful where you are?

  1. The leaves are changing where we are right now, I love this time of year. Also my little baby girl is growing and doing new things and I think that is the most beautiful thing here :-) Nice meeting you through BYW, thanks for checking out my blog!

  2. I love this photo, it's so serene.

I'm not staying healthy but I'm motivated to fix that! Oranges look like a good idea though. I wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog! It's nice to meet you :-) H

  3. Noreen, this is a beautiful photo. I just love still life photography. And I'd love to see the mailboxes. Every single kid (minus my son, who managed to escape with just a cold) on our block had strep throat this past week. Crazy times. Round about now, we always have clementines in the house.

And thank you so much for your sweet comment on my blog yesterday. Means a lot.

  4. Noreen. Olive leaf extract is amazing for keeping my kids flu free during winter...
Beauty capturing my attention at the moment are the flowering jacaranda trees. The paths, yards and roads are carpeted with lilac. Truly beautiful!
Hope you stay flu and cold free xxx

  5. Oh wow.... that photo is stunning! I really love your blog - it always delivers just what its name says it will. :)

  6. Hi Noreen,
Coming from BYW... thanks for checking out my blog. I absolutely love this photo - the light is just incredible! Sorry BYW is ending... what a great class it was.
    Sharon :-)
